Fabletics November Week 1

Kate Hudson is not only a fine actress and fashion icon but a smart businesswoman on poshmark.com. According to a recent interview with Marie Claire magazine, the star opened up about her venture into the atheisure wear trend and the amazing success the young company has achieved already.

ICYMI, Fabletics just celebrated its third anniversary and operates at an annual revenue rate of $250 million. Those are pretty incredible numbers, especially for an online subscription fashion retailer. Getting shoppers to become VIP members is not always easy to maintain for any e-commerce brand, but Fabletics isn’t like all the others. Fabletics boasts a global community of more than one million VIP members, and they all look up to Kate Hudson for fitness inspiration.

The trio see the huge potential in e-commerce, but Kate Hudson tells Marie Claire that the pressure is on her, because of her star power and being one of the co-founders of an L.A.-based start-up company:

We have 400 employees, we have 1,000 customer service, we’re a very big company. As the company grows, it’s just the bigger it gets, the more challenging things get sometimes….”
